Making a Real table cloth

hi guys this is a very easy modelling tutorial...

try to be patient and follow the steps carefully...

In this tutorial I will show you how to create a table cloth in 3ds max. You can use this tutorial to create bed sheets, clothes, and anything similar to this.The result of our tutorial

01. i have this table. Its not necessary to be a round table.

2. Make a square plane like me :

03. Now its the part when everyone will put a different setting. At "Lenghts Segs" i have put 25 and the same number at "Width Segs". You can put the same settings like me, but i didnt put too many segments because i will apply a turbosmooth

4. Put the plane above de table

5. In the "modifier menu", choose "turbosmooth" and at "Literations" put 2 and will be enough. Or if u want a better quality put 3 or 4 but its not necessary. By the way, I've made the plane a little bit smaller. A smaller size not a smaller number of polygons because I didnt notice that the plane will be too big.

6. Having the plane selected, choose "Cloth" from modifier menu

7. Then, in the sub-menu, click on "Object Properties"

8. A small window will appear. In the left side we have the list with all objects that will interact. For the moment its only the tablecloth (in this case "plane01" because I didnt give a name). Now, click on "Add Object" and add the table (in my case "Line01") . By the way, if you are a begginer and the names are not the same like mine, don't panic.

9. Now you should have the both objects in the list. Let's start with the tablecloth : Select the table cloth from that list and check "cloth". Then, at "Presets" you can choose what material, or if you want, you can create your own material. Just play a while with those settings and you will find the every function for each setting. In this tutorial I've choosed "Flannel"

10. For the table. Just select the table from 

11. After you have pressed "OK", in the right menu, click on "Simulate". If you dont like the result, click on "Erase Simulation", 

12. This is the basic of "Cloth" and change the settings but i don't think that will be necessary.modifier. Here you have the result with some texture
